CTOL Version (Conventional Take Off and Landing)

At its time, a new fifth-generation all-weather multirole military aircraft was planned by the JSF Joint Strike Fighter program to replace the current strike-fighters operated by the United States and NATO. The single-engine, single-seat F-35 Lightning II was created by a team from the aerospace industry headed by Lockheed Martin. It used stealth technology and was distinguished by its trapezoidal wings, usage of cutting-edge avionics, and hi-tech materials.

The F-35 models since 2016 have been designed in several configurations to carry out air superiority, close air support, and ground attack tasks. The F-35C features folding wings and has been created using standard deck carriers. Three main models include the F-35A which is the conventional takeoff and landing type, the F-35B which is the short takeoff and vertical landing variation, and the third being the F-35C.

The F-35 Lightning II is expected to be a benchmark aircraft for military aviation in the twenty-first century because of its operational versatility, cutting-edge onboard technology, and exceptional project innovation.
