GAF PIKA
Before the GAF Jindivik (kit 72003) drone was flown, two manned proof-of-concept aircraft were built and tested at the Woomera Range in South Australia. The GAF Pika ("Hunted One" in Koori) tested the aerodynamics, engine, and fully testing the radio control systems proposed for the Jindivik.
The High Planes Models kit includes limited run injection moulded plastic, resin and white metal parts, vacuum formed canopies by Falcon and one decal option.
This is an assembly kit for experienced modellers using limited run technology. Some clean up of parts and fitting will be required. Paint and cement not included. Suitable for ages 14 to Adult.
