The Mazda Motor Company is well-known for its technological success with rotary engines in Japan. They manufacture both racing and production cars. The first RX-7 sports car was introduced in 1978, winning worldwide fame as the "rotary rocket." After Rx 7, the model underwent another transformation in October 1991.
This 3rd generation RX-7 is Mazda's attempt to make it the fastest mass-produced sports car ever, and it will have maximum acceleration. Its design emphasised weight reduction as a major goal. As a result, the overall length and height are smaller, and the glass area also becomes smaller. Light and rigid monocoque frames make up the body shell. A drag coefficient of 0.30 is achieved by muscular styling.
The ideal weight distribution of 50:50 between the front and rear wheels is achieved by mounting this 255-horsepower engine just behind the front axle, a configuration known as a forward-midship format.
With integrated stabilising to control, the suspension is a four-wheel double wishbone supported by forged aluminium arms. The RX-7 sports car from Mazda is elegantly designed and incorporates the latest automotive technology.
