1/48 Italeri Mirage IIIE converted to RAAF IIIO specs
Hi all,
This is my recently completed 1/48 Italeri Mirage IIIE (available at M&H4U) converted to RAAF IIIO specs with High Planes resin cockpit ($10), seat ($5) and decals ($25). The avionics bay has been cut open and the contents scratch built. The exhaust has also been deepened by modifying the kit parts. The canted rails are resin from Hamilton Hobbies and the Matra 550s are from a Mirage F.1 kit. The resin cockpit was enhanced with Verlinden Mirage IIIC/CJ photo etch and the RBF tags are also from Verlinden. This particular aircraft A3-51 of 75 Squadron was the mount of Wing Commander Ray Evans and was on display at the RAAF Museum Point Cook but is now believed to be in storage. I hope you like it.
Regards
Andrew
