AB 204B

This version of the famous helicopter UH-1 Huey was produced in Italy under license for the Italian armed forces. Later other European countries were supplied as well with AB-204 Bs. (Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden).

The AB-204 was built with a more powerful engine than the previous B/C version (Kit No. 040, 050). It was equipped with part of the fuselage of the bigger UH-1 D “Slick” type. Despite its capability of carrying a vast assortment of armament, this chopper became mainly a supply and support aircraft.
