The Tyrrell team started racing in Formula One in 1968 using the Matra Ford. They did really well, and their driver Jackie Stewart became champion the next year. In 1970, they introduced their own 001 car in Canada, followed by the 003 and 002 in 1971 for Stewart and François Cevert. The 003 had a cool front design with a radiator, but otherwise, it was a regular and reliable car. Stewart won 6 out of 11 races that season, including Monaco, and that helped Tyrrell win both the drivers' and constructors' titles. Now, Tamiya has a 1/12 scale model of this legendary car.
