In 1940 The end of the British Royal Air Force in order to effectively intercept the German Air Force for possible future use Junkers Ju 86P high-altitude German bombers launch a new offensive, urgent need to develop a new "Spitfire" fighter plane to intercept the bombers equipped with turbocharger, the new machine equipped with new "Merlin"Mk.6 engine. As the development of new fighter needed a way to quickly make up the gap between the emergency design, this is the "Spitfire" Mk V .
