A Fieseler Fi 103R Reichenberg IV was one of the piloted V1 missiles developed for suicide attacks on Allied aircraft and other specified attacks. It was planned to conduct the suicide flight program in 1945 after the war. However, due to the high speed and the fact that the cockpit cover was situated directly below the jet engine inlet and tilted only 45 degrees. It was virtually impossible for the pilot to exit the rocket and land on a parachute. Officially, the German military authorities used the term "ramming."
Despite the fact that 175 Fieseler Fi 103R Reichenberg IV machines and 70 pilots were trained, their actual use on the battlefield still needs to be achieved. The Fieseler Fi 103R Reichenberg IV missile was nearly similar to the Yokosuka MXY7 Okha used by Japanese suicide pilots. But there was a slight exception that the Japanese pilot's cockpit was screwed down, preventing the missile from leaving during the flight, whereas the German missile's cockpit provided a theoretical chance to escape.
